A dynamic and engaging teacher and facilitator, Marla's career path includes more than 25 combined years of adult education and people development experience. Her first career was as a crisis intervention social worker, providing counseling and support to victims of violence and assault. Recruited as a trainer in this field, she eventually evolved her practice to providing leadership and organizational development consulting in complex corporate environments, primarily in healthcare-related organizations. Over the course of this career she completed ministerial studies and became a licensed and ordained minister. She currently works as a contract trainer for a national employee assistance program and is an art student at Bellevue College.
